Pastor Matthew Thrower
Pastor Thrower assumed the role of Senior Pastor in November of 2018. He and his wife, Jessica, moved to Sturgis, KY, from South Carolina. Pastor Thrower is passionate about BIBLE PREACHING! Since his arrival God has greatly used him to see SBC revitalized. We are blessed every week with first time visitors. Our membership has grown leaps and bounds under the leadership of Pastor Thrower, through the working of the Lord. Pastor Thrower has made a consistent effort to remind us that God is to receive all the credit for what has been done and what will be done. He often refers to this verse:
